Providing information and support to families caring for a child with an undiagnosed or rare genetic condition.
Thank you for your interest in supporting children and families. If you propose to fundraise on behalf of SWAN Australia, please complete our Proposal to Fundraise Form form and review our Fundraising Guidelines.
Below you will find a list of fundraising ideas. We hope these help you get started or inspire you to create your own unique fundraiser. If you would like some assistance or want to talk about a fundraising idea, you can reach us via email: email@example.com, or by phone: 0404 280 441.
If you like to be active, consider being active AND a hero for children and families. Enter a physical challenge or fun run and ask your friends and family to support you by donating to SWAN. Better still, get a team together and make it a fun day out.
Want to be creative? Host your own creative fundraiser and donate the proceeds to SWAN. Consider holding a baking sale, a garage sale, or selling your own sewn, painted or built creations. We will leave the creative bit up to you. Let us know if we can help.
Have a happy birthday and be a champion for children and families. Ask your family and friends to donate to SWAN instead of buying birthday gifts. If you would like to host a fundraising birthday appeal on Facebook and need help, let SWAN know.
Does your workplace have an employee giving program? Make SWAN your preferred charity. You can also encourage your team and workplace to support SWAN. Casual dress days, morning teas and team events can be fun ways to raise donations. SWAN can help you with ideas.
If your school hosts fundraising days, make SWAN a chosen charity. Have fun hosting a crazy hair day or odd sock day and learning about children with undiagnosed and rare genetic conditions. SWAN is here to support you with ideas and fundraising.
Use our reusable, washable and durable shopping bags to support and promote SWAN. We are also looking for supporters who can sell bags on our behalf. Contact us if you are interested in supporting SWAN children and families in this way.
